"WANDERING PHOTOGRAPHIC NORWICH"

 “CONVERGENCE”

-- Since I didn’t have the PC lens with me, the best thing I could do was to get as high up as I could conveniently.
-- Another advantage was that it was cool in the shade,
-- Which is not what it was in the sun.
-- This picture was a compromise between getting the verticals right and cropping the top off the spire
-- Or, to live with a little distortion.
-- I went with a bit of tilting the lens up.
-- Leaving the rebate in place.
-- Post-production warped pixels are a painful thing...

-- I've made some more pictures involving this unique wonderful Beaux-Arts City Hall.
The front steps and portico at the front of the building.

The lamp posts are on the West side of the building.

The latter dates back some time and I caught it just as the sun is softly hiding below the top of the hill on the left.
By the way, I had the steps of the old Otis Library to help to raise myself for this picture.
All of these were taken with a Nikon F2 and with either Eastman or Ilford film.
