 "AN UNEXPECTED HYGIENIC PORTRAIT"

**********************************************************************

-- “The Backstory”
-- Vinnie Scarano wanted to take some images of me working with one of the Large Format cameras.
-- The ones that I use to document the buildings in, and around New London, a project that he is working on for the magazine.
-- The model and the subject was the 4x5 and its owner,
-- The camera was really just a “prop” at this point, and it was aimed at a convenient building nearby that Vinnie and I were both more than familiar with.
-- The light was aimed toward the camera.
-- The camera and I were aimed toward the sun.
-- I hid it the best that I could behind the backlit Hygienic itself.
-- I even, unintentionally, included part of my “support” vehicle on the left side.
-- Probably the 105mm lens would have been a better choice…
-- But it really didn’t matter…
-- For that matter, up until I opened up the film holder, I wasn’t even sure there was any film in it.
-- And that really didn’t matter either…
-- So that’s the story.
-- Mostly…

"A PAMPHLET IN THE WORKINGS"

"LEGS-ON-LINE"

-- Not all are Rockettes.
-- This image is becoming a little Pamphlet
-- Of some sort or other.
-- A cell'phone creation.
-- What to do during a pre-Covid lunch
-- The shop has now dissolved
-- And so, maybe, has some sort of Archival significance...
